![]() ![]() Also a weird question: Why are those incredibly big, orangutan-like creatures called Jackals? On an ice planet, there're no jackals, so how do they even know this word? Or are they named by humans? Still, their names don't fit them.Unlike the main worlds in Remnant 2, Root Earth is a fixed location-meaning the events, layout, and objectives are always the same for every playthrough. ![]() The trick is that one of them usually stays at the mage's side or behind him. There's always 2 of them and if you take them down, the aura goes down. It took me a while to figure out, but the aura is linked to these summons: You can identify the aura-bound rats by them having purple eyes and they emit a purple glow when hit. It lasts for around a minute, and while it's up, he summons those small, ugly, blind rats. Melee, ranged and mod damage are all negated on him, as long as he has the aura on. He fires purple magic orbs at you and has the ability to summon a purple aura around himself that makes him invulnerable. Only appears in the mine-levels, has a large magic stick, that he uses as a walking stick and he has a robe on. I don't know what it's called, it's a rat wizard, but much thinner than the Blizzard Mage.
